With the support of the University of Hong Kong in the operation of the School Physical Fitness Award Scheme since 2013-2014 the Criteria of the School Awards has been further refined.

A series of school awards has been established in 2014 to encourage school-based physical fitness promotion.

The Fittest School Award was established to provide recognition to schools that are outstanding in improving their students’ physical fitness and health. The awards are given based on the proportion of students having the Gold Student Award out of all students in the schools. Gold Award ≥ 50%.Silver Award 30 to 49.9%. Bronze Award 20 to 29.9%. Merit Award 10 to 19.9%.

Furthermore the Fitness Promoting School Award was established to provide recognition to schools’ active participation in the scheme. The award is given based on the proportion of student fitness data uploaded out of all students in the schools. All schools which uploaded at least 20% of their students’ fitness data would be awarded the Fitness Promoting School Award.
